Our team is looking for passionate students who are looking to expand their education with hands-on testing experience in a game development quality assurance department! TwinRayj Studios is an innovative gaming company focusing primarily on mobile games for iOS Devices. Please Note: You must own an iOS* Device or a Windows PC in order to be a quality assurance tester with us at this time. *iOS includes iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers. Our internships are educational and eligible for college credit (if your school approves it). They are otherwise unpaid.

Duties

Play and test our games for defects, graphical errors, and rooms for improvement.
Push mechanics to the limits, breaking our games repeatedly to find errors that would demolish the user experience.
Repeat findings several times to help illustrate the frequency, root cause, and necessary details of the bugs.
Write quality, daily reports that detail your findings to the programming team.
Watch a set number of ads on our released games weekly to ensure the product is being geared toward the proper demographic and showing appropriate ads to users.
Occasionally test our merchandise store for defects, graphical errors, grammatical errors, and inconsistencies.

Qualifications

Ability to follow directions
Time management skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Good, positive work ethic
Understands difference between bugs, preferences, and intentional design
Working towards or recently graduated with a game design or equivalent degree

Plus

Knowledge of game design components such as scripting languages, game engines, development cycles, and agile workflows
i.e. C#, Unity, and Scrum

Art Department 🎨

- 2D Artist

We are looking for students who are skilled in 2D art and animation who want experience in the game industry.

Requirements:

Must have access to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or another graphic program
Ability to meet deadlines and take direction
Must be able to draw many different styles
Must know how to animate objects in 2D
Some work may also be conceptual art
Knowledge of how to create and set up a 2D character rig is a bonus
This is an unpaid internship. May be eligible for college credit. (based on school's internship requirements)

For applicants, we would like you to first complete the assessment listed in the job description before we proceed further in the hiring process.

For this assessment, we will need to see an illustrated animation that is exactly 15 frames. The animation needs to be no smaller than 256 x 256 pixels per frame, and no larger than 450 x 450 pixels per frame. Please include a sprite sheet with your animation.

If you are an Illustrator, provide a turnaround of Front, Back, Side, and 3 quarters of a topic of your choosing.

If your portfolio is not in your resume/cv then please provide it when you submit your assessment.

Things we will be assessing, but not limited to are:

Use of color (line art animations will likely be rejected.)
Quality of the animation/art (frames need to be lined up properly for a smooth animation.)
Style of art (use the type of art you are most proficient at.)

Our team is looking for marketing students who want to get a hands-on experience in social media marketing! We want an energetic person to join the team who’s also passionate about marketing Someone who’s a gamer is a plus. This person should be a second-year student with a passion for learning and trying new things. Our internships are educational and eligible for college credit (if your school approves it).
